Winter Paddling the Seven Lakes Region Snohomish County Washington
Winter Paddling the Seven Lakes Region Snohomish County Washington can be a good thing.
If the water on the lakes isn’t frozen and if you are prepared for winter paddling the Seven Lakes Region can be a good bet.
People that live in the area or those that live in the Metro Seattle area, an hour or less away, can enjoy numerous lakes to choose from.
A dry suit and warm fleece underneath can be good protection from the cold air and cold water.
Winter paddling is great because obviously it isn’t as hot as summer, but believe it or not sometimes it isn’t much warmer in the summer.
Winter paddling things are lest hectic and sometimes more quiet. Many of the lakes don’t allow gasoline engines. Lake Goodwin and Shoecraft allow power boats. But in the winter the traffic is less than summer if any at all. Winter usually is when anglers are out putting around on the water and aren’t any hassle compared to the powerboat crowd in summer.
Take advantage of winter paddling and enjoy the cool time.
