United States / Washington / Snohomish County Bike Routes Lastupdate: 8 plus miles from Lowell Riverfront Park / Rotary Park in Everett Washington to Port of Everett Union Slough restoration site parking lot. Do this trip at your own risk. Check weather and tides. Ride the tide going out all the way for ease or fight the tide when it comes in. Suggested routes might be to cut the trip in two pieces. Enter at Lowell Park and go to Langus Park on the Snohomish River. The other half from Langus to Union Slough parking could be done at another time. The Langus to the turn off for Union Slough is up stream to the turn off. Disclaimer Travel, visit, bike ride or do anything at your own risk. There MANY things to consider from .gov, angry residents, traffic, weather, dogs, road conditions etc. You name it. Like cars dogs and bicycles don't mix once hit or bitten twice shy. Dogs and cars rule. Many of the routes here are in places where people choose not to tie up their little poop machines. They can be a deadly combination. You need to have a defensive plan of action to employ in a split second. Some areas are worse then others. Bike trails seem to have fewer dog attacks. |
